Imotaki is a typical local cuisine and people enjoy it over viewing the beautiful moon in autumn. Imotaki in Ozu, having 300-year history, traditionally is cooked with fried tofu, konnyaku, shiitake-mushroom, chicken and taro which is harvested here and has excellent quality.
You will have a nice time having Imotaki on the riverbank of Hijikawa, viewing the lit up Ozu Castle as well. Please enjoy this local food under the moonlit sky with comfortable breeze.
You can reserve for Imotaki at registered-restaurants in Ozu City (We have 8 entries for this year), also you can enjoy some specialties at any restaurant.
